I want to replace my FTP server. On it I have a /Common folder that all customers can access and is Read Only. This is easy to replicate with Egnyte. However, I have on the FTP server, each customer also has their own "Home directory" which they have full read/write/delete etc to. So when they log in they see:
I think you get the idea. They can only see their own home folder and the common. In reality on the FTP server all users home folders are at the same level on the OS but they are only expressly granted access the theirs. Its a place for files relating to just them, and they can upload/download to their hears content with us. Is this type of thing possible. I have a few days remaining in the demo and cannot seem to figure out how to do this.
Re: Can I create private folders for standard users?
Thank you for your feedback. Only power users have access to a Private folder, so to give standard users a Private folder, you need to make them power users instead. Please let me know if you have any further questions or suggestions.
