Hi,

Any folder which gets deleted lands up in the Trash. Any administrator should be able to restore the folder from the Trash. If the move was made through the WebUI, then you should be able to see the folder right away.

If you have audit reports on your domain, you can always run a report and see where the folder was moved or if any one on your domain deleted the folder. Any user who has the read/write/delete permissions to a folder, will be able to delete the files/folders within it.

If you need any more technical help, our support team is available 24*7 at support@egnyte.com. File a ticket and some one will reachout to you.
