Granular description at shared folder update notification mails

It is essential for cloud users, to know what is going on with files in their shared folders – right?

But the content of egnyte mail notification “The following files have been updated in your shared folders:” does not indicate, if files are update, uploaded or deleted.

So how a user at egnyte can find that out?

Sure an administrator user can run a file audit report, but how about normal power or standard users?

At box.com they have a simple notification mail with clear indication, which file/folder was uploaded, upgraded or deleted by which user with a link to the respective folder.

Their notification mail summary page shows a clear daily overview of activity.

Hence I suggest, to have a m*ore granular description in your shared folder update NOTIFICATION mail*, indicating which files are uploaded, upgraded or deleted by which user maybe with a link to the respective folder.

Thanks!

Hey Werner,

No updates to report on this, unfortunately.

Your suggestion to merge threads is spot-on. I am going to close this thread for further comment and re-direct users to this existing one.

Thank you.
