Powershell FTP Script to Upload files to an Egnyte Folder

Looking to create a Powershell script that uses FTP to post file(s) to a Shared Egnyte Subfolder.

With FTP enabled on Egnyte, and using the Egnyte FTP user Syntax, Client Apps like WinSCP, Filezilla, etc. work fine.

Coping files via Mapped drives works only with Egnyte Connect and configuring a "Z" drive under the user executing the copy files script.

If running PowerScript from a server, has anyone created a simple script to copy files to a shared location using FTP?   There are some examples using curl which are documented in the help, but not a PowerShell example.

Re: Powershell FTP Script to Upload files to an Egnyte Folder

Hi @VC

Thanks for reaching out to the community.  I'm hoping someone from the community can provide you with an example.   We do not restrict users from using PowerShell scripts but I do not think we use PowerShell scripts often enough to give an example. If you'd like to attempt to write a script and if you run into an issue, reach out to support by emailing us at support@egnyte.com..
