A: Unfortunately Microsoft has not opened up the framework that allows real-time collaboration using the Desktop versions of their Office applications to 3rd party vendors. This is also of great interest to us and we'll continue to monitor.
A: The latest version of the Desktop App for Windows already supports this. When you install it, it installs an update service that will keep the Desktop App up to date. Note that updates are made whenever users restart their machine and you can
Q: Can you please explain more about the offline feature made in mind for those individuals that may be working remotely.
A: With the mobile app, you can mark specific folders for offline access. This saves the content to the user's mobile device. So users in remote locations can selectively have some folders synced with their mobile device. These folders will automatically get synchronized with the cloud as soon as connectivity is restored.
Q: Are we able to block mobile access to a select group of power users?
A: Today the settings are simply yes or no for Mobile use of an Egnyte domain. If this is a setting you would like to see, head to the community and submit this request as an "Idea." Product managers like to see these types of requests so we know what to focus on for our customers.
Q: What is the minimum version of Desktop app that started supporting auto-update?
