Currently when creating an upload link, it is mandatory that the creator receives email notifications every time someone uploads a file to the link.
We would like the option to disable these notifications - similar to how you can enable/disable email notifications every time someone accesses your shared folder link.
Thank you for writing to us. The notifications are built into the upload links to keep the link creator updated about the files being uploaded. These type of links are usually sent out to vendors/subcontractors/clilents from whom you may want to request files.
As you already know currently there is no way to turn off the notifications. However, I will surely check with the Product Team to see if such a feature can be introduced wherein the creator of the link gets to decide whether he/she wishes to receive the notifications on file uploads or not.
We can consider this in the future, but I haven't heard this request before, so unless we get more feedback from the community on this it is unlikely that we'll add this feature since it'll further complicate the upload link sharing dialog to add more options.
We have users that are requesting this as well. They want to be able to turn off these email notifications since they get an overwhelming number of them in a day. Thanks!
